Beautiful Girls, Evil Zombies and Big Guns

Journal Entry: Tue Apr 22, 2008, 7:17 PM
well that project i spoke off all the way back in nov 07, has begun. and that project is the Beautiful Gloom Machine, or Beautiful Girls, Evil Zombies and Big Guns.

i have already posted the first lot of the photos and stories here and the official website is up and running at [link]

what to expect from B.G.M?

exactly what the title says, lots of photos of Beautiful Girls in the midst of battling Evil Zombies with their Big Guns.

the first two shoots with my first model jess [link] are complete and in preparation for my next two shoots with my next two models.

this for the time being is pretty much where all my photography will be focused on, and hope to continue with the Beautiful Gloom Machine indefinitely.

which means, now more then ever i will be on the look out for new models that love to dress up as zombie killing babes with attitude and enjoy a photo shoot with a difference.

CURRENTLY... working on the feature film FROM PARTS UNKNOWN, [link] , as Production Designer and Stills Photographer. We are half way through our shoot and its essentially been an 80 hour a week job.

So very little of my usual photography work or artwork, but to keep this account going i shell post a few of the stills i take during the production of the movie.

FUTURE.... have a few ideas for photo sets once i've completed the movie... think SG, without the nudity, with definite themes and stunning locations, hair and make up. cyberpunk, steampunk, goth, 40's retro are some of the themes i will be steering towards.

so i'm looking for models, alternative and sexy. if you stumble across this post and are from melbourne, australia, or traveling to melbourne in early 2008, and like to be alt model with a difference, message me. and yes, i hope to be offering some pay to the chosen models, i think its only fair.

no new photo shoots scheduled for the near future.

i've put down my camera and picked up my pencils and brushes.

i'm sure i'll get back to some photography when something wonderful inspires me to put down my brushes and pick up the camera.

till then... you can check out all my current projects at my blog on my website, [link]

now that i'm inbetween film projects, i have more time to dedicate to photography. my intentions? are never good...after all. i'm human.

anyways...back to photography.

my intentions...more shoots.

until now i have kept my photography as a weekend hobby, now i'd like to go the next step...weekday hobby.

so now is a more conscious effort of searching for the right models and scheduling a lot more days for shoots.

i have a great mua friend that has the same drive to work on lots and lots of shoots. she has a few friends that are models, i know the odd girl who i would like to put infront of a lens, and i guess from here on i shell be keeping an eye out for more models with the particular look that i'm after, both here, or modelmayhem or myspace or whatever.

with a little luck, this deviant shell be a lot more busy very soon.
